Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, self-motivated, and pro-active Sonographers to join our dynamic ultrasound team in a friendly hospital near the Yorkshire Dales, Leeds, and Bradford.

Role Overview

Ideally, you will undertake a range of general, gynaecological, and obstetric ultrasound examinations. Previous experience in specialties such as MSK, vascular, small parts, neonatal head, paediatric hip, nuchal translucency scanning, or breast ultrasound would be advantageous but is not necessary.

Working Hours

Flexibility is preferred as we currently operate extended days until 8 pm, Monday to Friday, with commitments to weekend DVT and EPAU services. Days and hours are open to discussion.

Responsibilities

Sonographers are expected to provide an ultrasound service involving wholly unsupervised scanning sessions, working as independent practitioners in close collaboration with modality leads and the ultrasound lead to ensure a safe and efficient service. Training will be provided where necessary to support service provision.
