The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 7 Sonographer with UK experience to join a forward‑looking ultrasound team across Hillingdon and Mount Vernon hospitals. You will scan patients, produce independent reports, and contribute to teaching and service development.
You will lead, supervise trainees, engage in audit and clinical governance, and help plan workflows to maintain high standards of patient care and timely imaging services across sites.
With new and passionate Ultrasound Leads driving service development, we are seeking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Sonographer with UK experience and HCPC/NMC or RCT registration to join our friendly and forward-looking team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about their work, committed to achieving excellence and providing the best patient care. You will be part of a great team of diverse professionals that are equally passionate about delivering an excellent patient experience in line with our Trust Objectives. You must be available to work at either of our Trust sites - Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital.
As a band 7 sonographer you will be providing a supportive learning environment for trainee sonographers. You will be expected to support participation and leadership of the centrally registered audit and continuous improvement programmes.
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
