As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will join a collegial and cohesive Diagnostic Imaging team. East Kootenay Regional Hospital (EKRH) has three general ultrasound rooms and two echo rooms. Approximately 17,000 general exams and 3,000 echo exams are completed annually. Our community ultrasound services extend to Creston, Fernie, and Golden, serving about 3,000 patients per year. We are planning to expand our ultrasound services with an additional room at EKRH and exploring potential ultrasound services in Invermere.
This is a relief full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity until the incumbent returns. Shifts will be scheduled rotating days and evenings.
