Job summary

Hologic, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Application Specialist to support clinicians using Sonata across the North of England, covering Lancashire through Yorkshire and the North East.

You will deliver hands-on clinical training, provide procedural support during live Sonata cases, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Service teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience and help maximise utilisation and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Sonography or nursing/related healthcare discipline.
• Experience in gynaecology, women's health, theatre environments, or MIS beneficial.
• Experience providing clinical applications support, product training, or procedural support in healthcare settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to translate clinical and technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Act as the clinical and applications expert for the Sonata portfolio across the North of England.
• Deliver high-quality product training and education programmes to gynaecologists, consultants, nurses, theatre teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Support product installations, demonstrations, workshops, conferences, and educational events throughout the territory.
• Provide hands‑on procedural support during live Sonata cases in theatre and outpatient settings.
• Partner with Sales colleagues across the customer journey from opportunity development to post-installation support.
• Identify opportunities to increase utilisation and strengthen customer relationships across existing accounts.
• Gather customer feedback, market intelligence and competitive insights to support growth and innovation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Field Service Engineering, Technical Solutions, and Customer Service teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
