Job description

Los Mochis is seeking highly skilled and knowledgeable
Sommeliers to join our flagship team and elevate our wine program to new
heights in our stunning 14,000 sq ft restaurant on the rooftop of 100 Liverpool
Street.

Located on the 9th floor of 100 Liverpool Street, the
restaurant boasts a 3,000 sq ft outdoor terrace with views of the City. Los
Mochis City is our second location in London following the opening of the
highly acclaimed Los Mochis Notting Hill.

pioneer of pairing Mexican & Japanese cuisines, showing off the vibrancy,
passion, and heat of Mexico whilst celebrating the cool elegance and precision

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide
    exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns related
    to the wine program promptly and professionally.
  • Assist
    guests in selecting wines that best complement their preferences and
    enhance their dining experience.
  • Develop
    and maintain a comprehensive wine list that complements our menu offerings
    and caters to the diverse preferences of our guests.
  • Collaborate
    with the Head Sommelier and management to create wine-pairing suggestions
    for seasonal menus and special events.
  • Conduct
    regular wine tastings and staff training sessions to ensure consistent
    quality and service standards.
  • Stay
    up-to-date with industry trends, new wine releases, and emerging wine
    regions to continuously enhance the wine program.
  • Build
    and maintain relationships with wine distributors, winemakers, and
    industry professionals to source unique and exclusive wines for our
    guests.
  • Ensure
    proper storage and handling of wines, maintaining optimal conditions to
    preserve their quality and flavour profiles.

Requirements/skills:

  • Proven
