Job summary

Oblix at The Shard in London is seeking a passionate Sommelier to join our front-of-house team. You will deliver exceptional wine service, guide guests through our modern menu, and help create memorable experiences from arrival through departure.

The ideal candidate has previous Sommelier experience in a fast-paced, upscale setting, with meticulous attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sommelier in a high-end, fast-paced restaurant.
• Exceptional attention to detail and guest focus.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic service environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert wine service and recommendations to guests.

Located on the 32nd floor of The Shard, Oblix is a sophisticated, contemporary restaurant, split across two different spaces offering views across central London from East to West.

Oblix West is a refined, urban dining space with open fire dining and a modern menu, where the cuisine matches the view

Oblix East offers diners an eclectic mix of innovative dishes along with award-winning cocktails and afternoon tea.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sommelier to join our vibrant team at Oblix at The Shard . As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will embody our passion for exceptional hospitality, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, memorable experience from the moment they arrive.

Our Sommeliers are dedicated, hands-on, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, all while upholding Oblix’s renowned high standards . Full of personality and professionalism, you’ll inspire your team to deliver the outstanding service and seamless guest experience that define us.
