Automation Experts in Glasgow is seeking a Sales & Applications Engineer to drive applications and business development across the UK and Europe, developing relationships with end users in Aerospace, Gas Turbine, Automotive and related industries.

The role is predominantly office-based with some travel to trade shows and client briefings; you will collaborate with Project Engineers and Procurement to understand customer requirements and deliver technical sales presentations, with a competitive

Qualifications

• Graduates with 2–3 years' industrial engineering experience and strong interest in technical sales.
• Technical expertise in Engineering, Process Engineering or Metallurgical qualifications is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe for meetings and exhibitions.

Responsibilities

• Applications and business development across the UK and Europe.
• Develop relationships with end users in Aerospace, Gas Turbine, Automotive and related industries.
• Identify new business opportunities and support existing customer accounts.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers, Technical Specifiers and Procurement to understand customer requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and product proposals.
• Represent the company at meetings, industry events and exhibitions.
• Support marketing activities to promote processing solutions.
• Work with internal engineering teams to develop bespoke solutions.
