Job summary

Verkada is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineering leader to join our Europe, Middle East and Africa HQ in London. You will lead and develop a high-performing MM Solution Engineering team across Europe, acting as technical coach and program builder while driving cross-functional collaboration with sales, product, support and enablement.

This on-site role requires a hands-on leader who can scale initiatives and oversee complex security and IT infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Solutions Engineering leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information and Computer Technology, Cybersecurity, IT Security or similar.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure and networking/security fundamentals.
• Proven track record leading high-performing sales engineering teams and cross-functional collaboration.

About The Role

The Solutions Engineering team is looking for an additional SE leader to join our EMEA HQ team based in London, UK. The SE manager is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing MM Solution Engineering team across Europe. The candidate should be a proven technical leader in a fast-paced environment who is highly motivated, entrepreneurial, with excellent follow‑up and follow‑through. This role requires that you be on‑site at our EMEA HQ in London,UK, 5 days a week.

What You'll Do

• People Leader: Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing Select & Territory Solution Engineering teams
• Technical Leader: Technical coach, mentor, and problem solver, helping with technical escalations and navigating complex technical solutions
• Builder: Identify gaps, show initiative, and take ownership to build out programs and processes in support of the SE team
• Connector: Work cross-functionally to drive improvements and increase communication and collaboration across departments, e.g. sales, product, support, enablement, marketing, etc
• Career Champion: Develop and grow the team’s skillset through coaching, mentoring, and enablement
• Travel Requirement: Up to 25%

What You Bring

• Minimum 3+ years of Solutions Engineering leadership experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information and Computer Technology, Cybersecurity, IT Security or similar from an accredited university
• Strong background in IT infrastructure and network/security fundamentals
• Proven track record in leading high performing sales engineering teams and working closely with sales teams and product teams
• Experience building out programs and driving high impact projects and initiatives
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and enthusiastic with excellent follow‑up and follow‑through
• Based full‑time onsite in our London office.
