Job summary

Verkada is looking for a Solutions Engineer to own the customer experience from proof of concept to final decision in London. You will support the sales team with technical input, design security solutions, and prepare quotes for unique customer challenges.

You will join a fast-paced team working on video security, IoT devices, and access control, contributing to product direction and improvements while working onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication to articulate technical matters with customers and partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Networking or IT Security.
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing/switching; not required to know physical security products initially.

Responsibilities

• Become trusted technical advisor for CTOs, CISOs, and Senior Network Engineers.
• Collaborate with sales to understand deal status and next steps.
• Design security solutions and prepare quotes for customers.
• Influence product direction based on customer needs.
• Work with support to improve the product and solutions.
• Prepare project documentation (floorplans, scope, assumptions).
