Solutions Engineer - Electrical
As an Electrical Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in Europe's energy transition by designing solutions that steer the shift from conventional fossil fuels to renewable energy sources in industrial applications. You will understand client requests and subsequently prepare basic designs and steer the various engineering disciplines for further detailing.
You will engage in the engineering of energy solutions, with occasional site work required, both domestically and internationally. You will work within a close-knit team environment, liaising with engineers, project managers, and bid managers to oversee projects from the specification phase through to commissioning.
Your responsibilities will include fostering client satisfaction by delivering custom solutions that meet operational challenges, coordinating between disciplines, ensuring seamless collaboration, and overseeing compliance of installations with high standards.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Power Electronics, or Sustainable Energy.
- Knowledge of large electrical drive systems, HV-MV distribution, transformers, converters, harmonic filters, cooling systems, and electric motors.
- Experience or enthusiasm in electrification, energy generation and storage, automation, and digitalization.
- 10-15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience with installations exceeding 1000V, network and fault current calculations, large drive systems over 1 Megawatt, and related subsystems.
