Job Description:

This role is for a Solutions Director with deep Department of Navy experience and strong technical expertise. You will work with the CTO team and Navy team to drive business strategy and technical solutions for complex proposals, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities include defining technical strategy, leveraging your expertise in domains like Edge Computing, Cybersecurity, AI, Cloud, and emerging Navy technologies, and representing GDIT at industry events. You will build relationships within the Navy and Marine Corps, influence solution strategies, and advocate for innovation and modernization initiatives. Approximately 25-50% travel is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Write white papers to influence opportunities and increase PWIN.
  2. Create and execute technical roadmaps to automate and improve existing programs.
  3. Drive solution strategies to attain high evaluations and growth.
  4. Build trust with business leaders and customers, ensuring successful delivery.
  5. Participate in industry events to showcase capabilities and develop relationships.
  6. Support marketing and sales by understanding customer needs and identifying value-add opportunities.
  7. Advocate for NMC priorities in investment strategies.
  8. Identify opportunities for capability insertion and innovation.
  9. Maintain technical roadmaps for NMC programs.
  10. Engage with customers to demonstrate solutions and understand their challenges.
  11. Promote partnerships with technology and innovation partners.
  12. Represent GDIT at external technical events and understand customer modernization journeys.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
  • 20+ years designing and delivering solutions in the DON.
  • Experience in DON cyber, training, IT, networks, or business systems.
  • Technical skills in Application Modernization, Cybersecurity, Digital Experience, Networks, Data & AI, Cloud & Data Center.
  • Proven ability to develop and write technical and program management solutions for the DoD.
  • Excellent communication skills.
