Job description

DSV is recruiting for a Solutions Design Engineer at our Brackmills site.

This role involves providing customer-focused administration services on selected accounts, working directly with the client’s customer service team to meet delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting new business pursuits and existing operations through data-driven and practical approaches, including process creation, layout design, and capacity calculations.
  • Playing a key role in increasing revenue and EBITA by optimizing solutions for new and existing business, working on proposals and operational requests.

Additional tasks:

  • Understanding customer requests and data to inform decisions.
  • Calculating space, headcount, and automation needs considering site and operational factors.
  • Engaging in industry events and collaborating with suppliers and management to develop new business services.

Client Retention and Growth:

  • Maintaining good relationships with clients and reviewing operational data to optimize processes.

Implementation and Department Development:

  • Ensuring solutions are implemented effectively, including SOPs, productivity, and resource planning.
  • Identifying opportunities for value addition and standardization across sites.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Researching industry innovations.
  • Participating in sales and customer initiatives.
  • Promoting DSV’s professional image and complying with company policies and safety standards.
