As a Solutions Design Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of warehouse and supply chain operations, working with leading clients to drive efficiency, implement cutting-edge solutions, and revolutionise logistics processes.

Position Overview

1. Provide expert guidance to clients on optimising supply chain processes.
2. Conduct in-depth assessments of supply chain systems, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
3. Develop and implement data-driven solutions tailored to customer requirements.
4. Lead the design and execution of strategic warehouse and distribution solutions.
5. Conduct site assessments to determine optimal layouts, automation, and mechanisation strategies.
6. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
7. Oversee end-to-end project execution, from initial consultation to final implementation.
8. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and exceed client expectations.
9. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
10. Build strong relationships with clients to understand business needs and challenges.
11. Define project objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
12. Educate and consult key decision-makers on best practices and emerging industry trends.
13. Analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
14. Recommend process optimisation strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
15. Utilise data analytics tools and financial modelling to support decision-making.
16. Leverage new technologies and digital tools to enhance supply chain solutions.
17. Implement supply chain systems, including WMS, TMS, and automation technologies.
18. Collaborate with vendors and technology partners for system integrations and upgrades.
19. Work closely with finance, IT, operations, and consulting teams to ensure holistic solutions.
20. Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance team capabilities and expertise.
21. Manage outsourcing processes, including RFP preparation, review, and vendor selection.
22. Design and optimise transport operations and fleet management strategies.
