Job description

The Vacancy

Binnies, part of the RSK Group, is in joint venture with @One Alliance. We are seeking a Solutions Coordinator on a permanent basis in Peterborough.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the supportive @one Alliance Solutions team if you are enthusiastic, passionate about solving problems, and eager to try new approaches.

This role offers a flexible hybrid working model, including working from home, in-office attendance three days a week, and visits to sites across the region.

You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects related to Water Recycling (sewage treatment), infrastructure (water and sewage pipelines), and water (treatment and storage).

Responsibilities:
  • Triage incoming requests from clients to understand their requirements.
  • Conduct site visits as needed to gather firsthand information about projects.
  • Identify and compile data to develop solutions that meet client needs.
  • Assist in scoping enabling works, surveys, constraints, opportunities, risks, and related activities to supplement existing information.
  • Help develop potential solutions through data interpretation, root cause analysis, innovative thinking, and engineering principles.
  • Challenge norms at all stages, seeking alternative delivery methods with a focus on value engineering, buildability, efficiency, sustainability, ecological and social impact reduction, and innovation.
  • Contribute to developing project plans and reports, including schedules and costs, aligned with Anglian Water and @one Alliance standards.
  • Monitor and report progress, identify potential changes, and contribute to monthly performance reports.
Skills / Experience:
  • Relevant qualifications such as A levels, T levels, BTech, or demonstrable relevant experience.
  • Experience in engineering, construction, or water sector operations.
  • A desire to develop your career and enthusiasm for learning.
Desirable:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with water-sector assets.
  • People management experience.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
