ICT - Driving Technological Transformation

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Wiltshire Council's ICT department working in the Enterprise Architecture Team, delivering new solutions for Wiltshire Council. As a Solutions Architect, you will provide architectural expertise and direction to different council services, programmes, projects and all levels of management on the council's technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead decisions for designing the correct technical solutions that meet business requirements.
• Produce artefacts such as visions, roadmaps and high- and low-level designs.
• Apply knowledge of Architecture Description, such as UML, and utilise experience gained from ITIL, Prince2 or MSP practices.
• Provide recommendations based on a solid working knowledge of IT principles and enterprise products.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with Architecture Description (e.g., UML).
• Knowledge and experience from ITIL, Prince2 or MSP frameworks.
• Good working knowledge of IT principles and enterprise products with the ability to make informed recommendations.
