Job summary

Princes Liverpool is recruiting a Solutions Architect (Sales & Distribution) to join IT – Supply Chain & Customer Fulfilment. You will own end-to-end SAP SD architectures, covering order management, ATP, pricing, delivery and billing, with strong integration to logistics and finance systems.

Based in Liverpool, the role offers hybrid working, international scope, and opportunities to lead architecture across multiple business units within a leading FMCG business.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP SD solution design experience.
• Understanding of Order-to-Cash processes and integrations with finance and logistics.
• Experience with pricing, ATP, delivery, billing and customer fulfilment processes.
• Integration knowledge (EDI, WMS, interfaces).
• Experience in enterprise solution architecture and governance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• FMCG or manufacturing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end SAP SD solution architectures across Supply Chain & Customer Fulfilment domain.
• Design solutions covering order management, ATP, pricing, deliveries and billing processes.
• Ensure integration between SAP SD, logistics systems, EDI platforms and finance systems.
• Produce architecture artefacts, designs and documentation.
• Ensure alignment to enterprise architecture standards and governance.
• Provide architectural assurance across delivery programmes and BAU changes.
• Work with business stakeholders to translate sales and fulfilment requirements into solutions.
• Support S/4HANA transformation and O2C process standardisation.
• Identify opportunities for optimisation, automation and continuous improvement.
• Support vendor selection, system evaluation and technical decision-making.

1. Job Purpose
Responsible for the design, definition, and assurance of technology solutions supporting Sales & Distribution processes. Ensures SAP SD solutions deliver efficient, scalable, and integrated order-to-cash capabilities across order management, pricing, logistics execution and billing.
2. Dimensions

• Owns solution architecture across SAP SD and related fulfilment systems
• Covers Order-to-Cash including order entry, ATP, pricing, delivery and billing
• Operates across multiple business units and international operations
• Supports integration with Logistics, Planning and Finance (Accounts Receivable)
• Provides technical leadership across delivery teams
• No direct line management responsibility
