Job summary

Softcat plc is seeking a Solutions Architect to translate client technical requirements into innovative, well-designed solutions for on-premise or cloud environments. You will give expert input into High Level Designs and act as the technical design authority for proposals.

You will work with specialists and consultants to deliver cross-discipline solutions, presenting complex information clearly to customers and stakeholders across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in presales and datacentre / cloud technologies across vendors.
• Ability to understand business and technical requirements and produce designs.
• Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into innovative, well-designed solutions for on-premise or cloud.
• Produce designs and input into High Level Designs (HLD).
• Act as technical design authority for solution proposals and collaborate with other consultants.
• Present complex information clearly and persuasively through presentations and whiteboarding.
