Solutions Architect - HPC & AI (UK/Europe)

An award-winning technology solutions provider is seeking an experienced solutions architect with strong knowledge of the storage and HPC/high-performance computing sector. They offer innovative solutions in software-defined storage and data management for applications in HPC, including AI, research, healthcare, and other fields utilizing HPC systems to solve complex problems.

The role involves working closely with prospective clients to understand their challenges and demonstrate how the company's solutions can address complex computational and data issues. You will be part of a global team responsible for customer engagement, contributing to and delivering RFPS, RFQs, and RFIs, as well as designing technical solutions for clients.

Key requirements include:

  1. Deep technical understanding of high-performance storage, including clustered or parallel filesystems, NAS, SAN, and object storage, ideally within research or similar environments.
  2. Experience with cloud storage, including its benefits and challenges.
  3. Hands-on experience with Linux system administration, authentication protocols, and HPC/AI workflows.
  4. Excellent communication skills, including presentation abilities, as the role is customer-facing.
  5. Flexibility to travel up to 25% within the UK and Europe; European language skills (French, German) are a plus.
