Solutions Architect – Azure | Hybrid | Financial Services

We’re working with a forward-thinking insurance broking organisation undergoing a major modernisation journey. They’re seeking a Solutions Architect to play a central role in shaping scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Leading the design and delivery of Azure-based architectures (IaaS, PaaS, serverless, data, AI/ML).
2. Collaborating across teams to understand business capabilities and define target state architecture.
3. Driving modernisation efforts, integrating cloud- Azure services and legacy systems.
4. Leading integration strategies (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and hybrid cloud communications.
5. Developing reusable architecture blueprints and technical documentation (HLD/LLD).
6. Supporting architectural governance, procurement decisions, and executive reporting.
7. Mentoring engineering teams on best practices in Azure, DevOps, API design, and security.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong architectural understanding across infrastructure, software, data, and security.
• Proven experience in Azure migration and modernisation of legacy platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure (M365, Entra, APIM, Azure DevOps).
• Experience in microservices, AKS, API-first design, and middleware tools like Logic Apps and Service Bus.
• A track record of delivering system integration programmes at scale.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to simplify the complex for non-technical stakeholders.
• Background in Insurance, financial services, or transactional banking systems.
