Job summary

Global Resourcing - Executive Search, Interim & Consulting is seeking Solution Architects at multiple levels for a remote UK-based role with occasional travel to client sites. You will shape end-to-end technology solutions across defence, government and critical infrastructure programmes.

You will translate requirements into secure architectures, collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders, and support design authority activities while pursuing UK security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Developing end-to-end solution architectures
• Producing High-Level Designs, technical specifications and architecture documentation
• Defining system interfaces, integration methods and deployment approaches
• Working closely with delivery and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation
• Designing secure data flows and information exchange solutions
• Applying secure-by-design and defence-in-depth principles throughout the architecture lifecycle
• Identifying technical risks, dependencies and constraints
• Supporting design authority and architecture governance activities
• Participating in customer workshops, discovery sessions and technical reviews
• Collaborating with stakeholders across architecture, engineering, cyber security and programme delivery functions
• Experience delivering or contributing to complex technology solutions
• Strong understanding of architecture principles and systems design
• Ability to gather and analyse requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Experience producing architecture artefacts, design documentation and technical presentations
• Exposure to software, cloud, infrastructure, networking or cyber security technologies
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary delivery teams

Location: Remote UK-based role with occasional travel to customer sites

Salary: £65,000 - £120,000 depending on level and experience

Candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo BPSS, SC and DV vetting processes

Due to continued growth and project demand, they are looking to hire Solution Architects at multiple levels, including Solution Architect, Senior Solution Architect and Principal Solution Architect.
