Solutions Architect / Implementation Architect

Location: London, UK

My client is an exciting and rapidly growing SaaS scale-up seeking to hire an exceptional Solutions Architect.

The company is product-first, with a team comprised of industry-leading talent from companies like Amazon and Microsoft. After a challenging year for many, this scale-up, with over $5m in funding, continued to grow, win new clients, and recently established their European headquarters. They are now looking for a Technical Solutions Architect / Technical Implementation Architect to join their expanding team.

Ideally coming from a hands-on engineering background, the Solutions Architect will work closely with clients' technical teams, including CTOs, to develop and deliver solutions. This is an early and critical hire in EMEA and will be responsible for scaling the Solutions team further.

This role offers realistic growth options and clear career progression within a rapidly growing start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the Client Solutions team on complex technical issues.
  2. Integrate cloud-based platforms with clients using web technologies.
  3. Drive the technical onboarding of new clients.
  4. Develop a deep understanding of the platform, underlying technology, and application details.
  5. Potentially provide technical pre-sales support, if desired.
Required Skills:
  1. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  2. 5+ years of relevant experience in a client-facing Solutions, Architecture, Implementation, or technical account management role.
  3. Experience working with successful SaaS products.
  4. Ability to balance customer requirements with overall strategy and roadmaps.
  5. Skill in engaging customer stakeholders to analyze current and proposed architectures.
  6. Hands-on coding experience, preferably in Python, JavaScript, or similar.
  7. Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is a plus but not essential.
