Location: Leeds (Hybrid)

Salary: £65,000

Are you an experienced Solutions Architect with a strong technical background, experience with Cloud technologies and a passion for shaping architecture within an organisation?

A leading provider of specialised solutions in a highly regulated industry is seeking a talented individual to join their team and help drive their transition to a cloud-native environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, collaborative team that's in the process of maturing their architecture and establishing governance across the business.

The company is moving forward with a strategic shift towards Cloud, and this role will be pivotal in supporting and leading this transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Adoption: Play a central role in helping the organisation move its legacy systems to the Cloud, with the goal of making solutions cloud-native.
• Technical Leadership: Work on modernising the company's legacy systems, adding new functionality while ensuring it is fully cloud-hosted and scalable.
• Architecture Development: Help establish and shape the architecture within the organisation, ensuring solid governance frameworks are put in place.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth technical execution of projects, while maintaining strong communication channels throughout the organisation.
• Cloud and Dev Experience: Leverage your experience in Cloud technologies, particularly within Microsoft environments, to build out scalable solutions. A background in Development will be advantageous as you dive into this technical role.
• Governance: Contribute to building out architecture governance practices and frameworks, setting standards for the future of the company's technical direction.

About You:

• Cloud Expertise: Experience working in Cloud environments, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
• Technical Background: Strong technical foundation with a background in development and Cloud architecture.
• Architecture Focus: A keen interest in establishing and maturing the architecture function within an organisation, driving technical innovation and best practices.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
