Job summary

Amach is seeking a Solutions Architect to be embedded with a leading aviation operator in a hybrid role with ~3 days per week in West London. You will design and deliver cloud, data and AI solutions on AWS, bridging customer requirements with technical implementation and ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with customer teams and delivery professionals to define architectures and drive innovation across aviation operations.

Qualifications

• AWS Certified (Associate level or above)
• Proven experience architecting cloud solutions in complex, regulated environments
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with airlines or aviation operators
• Familiarity with data platforms and analytics solutions

• Partner with the customer's business and technical teams to understand objectives and translate into solution architectures
• Design cloud and AI-driven solutions on AWS for aviation challenges
• Lead technical planning and scoping of implementations, aligning with timelines and budgets
• Serve as technical liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies and AI capabilities in the customer environment
• Provide cyber security guidance throughout the solution lifecycle
• Oversee solution quality and ensure compliance with standards and performance expectations

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to be embedded with our customer, a leading aviation operator, where you will work closely with their teams and stakeholders to design and deliver cloud, data and AI solutions tailored to their business needs. You will bridge the gap between customer requirements and technical implementation, leveraging your expertise in AWS and emerging technologies to architect scalable, secure solutions that drive value across their aviation operations.

Please note: this role operates on a hybrid model, with 3 days per week in our customer's West London office.

• Partner with the customer's business and technical teams to understand their strategic objectives and translate them into comprehensive solution architectures
• Design and propose cloud and AI-driven solutions on AWS that address the customer's aviation software challenges and operational requirements
• Lead the technical planning and scoping of implementation projects, ensuring alignment with customer timelines, budgets and business outcomes
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between the customer's stakeholders and delivery teams, communicating complex architectural decisions and trade-offs in accessible terms
• Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and AI capabilities within the customer's environment, identifying and advocating for innovative approaches that create competitive advantage
• Provide cyber security guidance throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring the customer's infrastructure and data remain protected against evolving threats
• Oversee solution quality and ensure all deliverables meet the customer's technical standards, compliance requirements and performance expectations

Required Experience:

• AWS Certified (Associate level or above)
• Proven experience architecting cloud solutions in complex, regulated environments such as aviation or similar high-assurance sectors
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles and the ability to incorporate security best practices into solution design
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• An AI-adaptive mindset with enthusiasm for emerging technologies and a track record of evaluating and integrating new capabilities
• Experience working directly with airlines or aviation operators
• Familiarity with data platforms and analytics solutions in the aviation sector
• Background in data architecture or AI/ML solution design
• Knowledge of aviation-specific compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements
