Overview

Responsible for promoting the use of industry and Company technology standards. Monitors emerging technologies/technology practices for potential use. This crucial role is responsible for designing, structuring, and implementing technology solutions to meet business needs. It requires a profound understanding of software technologies, adept communication skills, and the capacity to translate intricate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Specifically, this role encompasses the design of technical solutions for large-scale projects aimed at the needs of major global broadcast and media clients. As a part of the Scrum team, you will play a key role in multifaceted technical projects of above-average complexity and significant scope. Furthermore, fostering collaboration within the wider Comcast Technology Solutions business and our extensive partner network is a crucial aspect of this position.

Experience in the Media (or neighbouring industry) is required.

• Designing complex integrations, especially with REST based web services.
• Experience with some of the technologies we make use of: Groovy, Python, AWS Serverless (API Gateway, Lambdas), XML, JSON, Open API, virtualization in general and especially Docker and its ecosystem, Git, NoSQL products and concepts (Dynamo, column family, etc.).
• Exposure to at least one of main programming languages Java or C#.Net.
• Experience in Professional Services or Consulting.
• Demonstrable experience as a Solution Architect in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with systems handling high transaction volumes with low latency requirements.
• Knowledge of web application architectures and agile development practices.
• Experience with SAAS-based solutions and delivering media solutions.
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
• Preferable: Bachelor\'s Degree; or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
