Job summary

Hiscox is hiring a Systems Analyst to lead end-to-end delivery of technology solutions within the UK Retail team. You will own technical specifications, gather requirements, and work with architects, developers and vendors to ensure delivery aligns with business goals.

You will translate business needs into clear designs, support testing, and drive improvements while balancing cost and performance. Flexible working options may be available as part of a delivery-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating complex software applications and packages.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and specifications.
• Experience working with Product Owners, Architects, developers, testers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of solution technical specifications and document requirements as user stories or functional specs with acceptance criteria.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Elicit requirements from non-technical stakeholders and simplify complex processes.
• Develop and review solution options with cross-functional teams to address functional and non-functional needs.
• Act as SME for developers and testers and guide implementation and testing.
• Support testing, triage defects, and identify root causes.
• Drive continual improvements to deliver high-quality technical changes.
