The Data Management & Integration team is responsible for driving growth across all of our lines of business in an integrated way. This role is responsible for interpreting and defining client needs in order to align the client’s objectives and requirements with Dun & Bradstreet’s data, capabilities and value. Articulating how our data in conjunction with key partner technologies can lead to strong business outcomes is key.

The Solution Engineering Associate will work in partnership with Relationship Managers, Solution Sales to quickly and thoroughly understand customers’ use cases and pain points and develop and document a solution proposition for addressing them using the data products and services offered by Dun & Bradstreet. The Solution Engineering Associate should be a curious and customer-centric technologist who is self-driven in the understanding of business data and customer data challenges and actively seeks ways in which Dun & Bradstreet solutions both current and future can help our customers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a power user of D&B platforms and data in order to leverage the full capability of Dun & Bradstreet to solve customer use cases.
  • Develop and deliver tailored demos and prototypes to help customers understand and derive value from Dun & Bradstreet’s product and services.
  • Actively solicit feedback from customer and drive this through with product teams to continually improve the product offering.
  • Translate business requirements into documented solution designs that can accurately capture the customer’s requirements, their technical landscape aligned to the best fit Dun & Bradstreet product offerings.
  • Demonstrate and educate product technical capabilities to both senior management, product owners, architects, business analysts and development personal, requiring tailoring of communication to suit the relevant audience.
  • Be primary technical point of contact for customer trials and POCs offering support as required interfacing with internal D&B teams as required.
  • Prepare and maintain solution architecture relevant presentation and technical documents to support the pre-sales process.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstratable confidence working with all kinds of data in various structures (delimited, JSON primarily).
  • Demonstratable ability in a coding language (Python or similar) to be able to extract and transform customer / Dun & Bradstreet data in order to uncover insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database design fundamentals.
  • Adept at providing technical solutions based on clients’ needs per the practice area
  • Customer centric with a proactive attitude to tackle problems and deliver solutions for great customer experience during the whole customer journey
  • High aptitude to stay current and train on related technology areas
  • Compliance with industry professional certifications is required when selling specific regulated financial or data products
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., SFDC) and Microsoft Office Suite skills
