Job Description:

AXA Retail is seeking a talented, passionate, and versatile Salesforce Engineer with a growth mindset and a commitment to technical excellence. You will be a key member of our agile development team, building and maintaining our Salesforce Ecosystem and its integration with our in-house insurance platform, adhering to industry best practices and standards. Your collaborative approach will foster a culture of growth and learning, demonstrating resilience and courage when facing new challenges.

At AXA, we promote flexible working, allowing employees to balance home and office work. You will work at least 40% remotely, with a transition to predominantly remote work starting September 2025. Flexibility can be discussed with Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions meeting quality, design, coding, performance, and security standards
  • Provide production support, investigate incidents, and implement fixes
  • Conduct thorough testing, emphasizing automated testing standards
  • Create and support custom Lightning Web Components, triggers, and scheduled batch jobs
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and retrospectives to ensure quality and continuous improvement
  • Maintain platform stability and availability through collective ownership
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and foster community growth

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Salesforce Engineering with relevant certifications such as Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator
  • Strong understanding of Clean Code, Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, Governor Limits, and Salesforce Best Practices
  • Adaptability and growth-oriented mindset to meet evolving platform and customer needs
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds
  • Passion for software development, demonstrated through blogging, open-source contributions, or tech event participation
  • Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Innovative mindset to find optimal technical solutions
