Job summary

NXA Talent is seeking a Solution Design Engineer for warehouse 3PL. The role covers end-to-end solution design, data analysis, warehouse modelling, and cost estimates across sectors. This position involves Remote work with UK travel as required.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to shape proposals, develop pricing models, and present solutions to customers. Expect on-site and remote support during go-lives and wider project activity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a warehouse solution design engineer.
• Strong system experience working with warehouse design platforms.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end solution design projects, covering data analysis, warehouse modelling, and cost estimates.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape proposals and produce clear outputs.
• Build and maintain pricing models, rate cards, and cost breakdowns with Business Development.
• Facilitate solution reviews to validate operational practicality and align with requirements.
• Develop client proposals and presentations, including presenting solutions to customers.
• Manage design and analytical deliverables to meet deadlines.
• Support go-lives and project activity with on-site and remote assistance.

Solution Design Engineer - Warehouse 3PL

Remote with UK Travel

Up to £60,000 + Package

My client is a well known global 3PL going through an exciting period of growth and development. The Solution Design Engineer will create warehousing customer solutions across multiple sectors. You must have previous Solution Design Engineer experience within a 3PL environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver end-to-end solution design projects, covering data analysis, warehouse modelling, and the development of detailed cost estimates using design tools.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape proposals, producing clear outputs and supporting high-impact presentations.
• Build and maintain pricing models, rate cards, and cost breakdowns in collaboration with Business Development teams.
• Facilitate solution reviews with internal teams to validate operational practicality and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Contribute to the development of persuasive client proposals and presentations, including presenting solutions directly to customers where required.
• Manage design and analytical deliverables to ensure completion within agreed deadlines.
• Support contract go-lives and wider project activity, providing solution design expertise both on-site and remotely.
