Type: Permanent


Location: Edinburgh, Peterborough or Witham (We believe in the power of in-person collaboration, and our hybrid model requires colleagues to be in the office a minimum of 40% of their time)


Salary: A competitive salary from £51,920 - £77,880 depending on experience

As a Solution Delivery Manager, you will lead the delivery of technology changes and support third-party deliveries for the Aegon UK platform and digital experience. Drive process improvements and push innovation in technology and customer experience to make the Aegon platform the first choice for our customers.


Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and driving technical delivery, making strategic decisions on effective delivery
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute initiatives
  • Managing project scope, schedule, quality, and risks; adjusting plans as necessary
  • Embedding an agile mindset while managing risks
  • Coordinating work across teams and managing third-party deliveries
  • Reviewing issues and blockers, and problem-solving to resolution
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, and Excel
  • IT project management experience from conception to implementation
  • Experience managing third-party software and application deliveries
  • Familiarity with Jira and/or Confluence
  • Experience managing stakeholders at senior and executive levels
