Solution Delivery Lead – Project ONE – Media Technology Platform

Location: Stockley Park / Hybrid

Reports To: VP Transformation, Technology

Role Overview

The Solution Delivery Lead is responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of a core media technology platform within a broadcasting and sports content production environment. The role leads design, configuration, testing, and implementation of the solution, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational workflows. Working closely with internal stakeholders and an external systems integration (SI) partner, the Lead ensures high‑quality delivery, holds partners accountable, and drives business readiness for a successful go‑live.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end platform delivery: translate business requirements into designs, oversee system configuration, ensure integrations, and drive quality assurance.
• Act as primary accountability owner for systems integration partner: define deliverables, monitor performance, challenge solutions, and manage risks.
• Define test strategy, coordinate execution, manage defects, and lead deployment planning.
• Design and deliver training programmes, create documentation, and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Define readiness criteria, assess readiness, and gate launch via go/no‑go decisions.
• Engage stakeholders, communicate progress, and build strong relationships.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven technology delivery experience in broadcasting or media environments.
• Strong understanding of live & non‑live media workflows.
• Design and implementation of media platforms such as Dataminer, Media Pulse, SchedulAll, NRCS solutions (Saga, Story Desk, iNEWS), Salesforce CRM, SAP Financials, Workday, BNCS, DataMiner, Qibb, SDVI Rally, Node Red, etc.
• Experience collaborating with and managing system integration partners to deliver on‑time and to quality.
• Track record in solution testing, defect resolution and outcome delivery.
• Experience implementing AI tools to automate workflows and data capture in content production or similar.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in live broadcast environments and adapt to unpredictable changes.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, develop & deliver training programmes to operational and technical support staff.
• Robust, systematic approach to managing progress and delivery; transparent, timely reporting and risk communication.

Desirable Experience

• Experience in sports broadcasting.
• Knowledge of cloud media workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience in transformation programmes.
