Job summary

BAE Systems in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect for a 6-month contract within Digital, Data & Cyber. You will contribute to architecture, integration and governance in defence manufacturing, focusing on secure and resilient digital solutions.

The role requires strong SAP S/4HANA expertise, OT awareness, and application of NIST/ISO 27001 frameworks, with collaboration across security, engineering and manufacturing stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Proven track record in solution architecture, systems integration or architecture governance.
• Experience in defence manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of operational technology (OT) environments.
• Experience applying cyber security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Experience conducting or supporting cyber security assessments.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture framework.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Experience applying cyber security frameworks, particularly NIST and ISO 27001.
• Experience conducting or supporting cyber security assessments.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or an equivalent enterprise architecture framework, supported by relevant practical experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Security Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to work within the security requirements of the role. BPSS screening is required, with SC clearance in progress. The role is subject to UK Eyes Only restrictions.
