Blue Yonder Title: Solution Architect - Supply Chain Planning for Discrete Manufacturing & Automotive Industries

Scope

In this exciting and blended role, this individual will serve as Solutions Advisor and Functional Solution Architect. They will engage with customers to understand their business processes and requirements, focusing on implementing Supply Chain Planning applications for Fortune 500 companies, including Automotive OEMs.

Solutions you will work with:
  • Production Planning and Scheduling, Order Slotting and Sequencing (OSS), Transportation Capacity Planning, Vehicle Routing and Scheduling
What you'll do
  1. Customer Engagement: Collaborate with customers to gather and analyze their business needs, translating them into tailored Blue Yonder solutions.
  2. User Story Development: Work with customers to develop User Stories that capture functional requirements, aligning with industry best practices.
  3. Solution Design: Partner with project teams to identify technical solutions that meet customer needs and improve supply chain operations.
  4. Pre-Sales Support: Participate in pre-sales activities, including delivering presentations, demonstrations, and sharing best practices.
  5. Project Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation such as functional designs and training materials for seamless implementation.
  6. Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support post-rollout to ensure customer satisfaction and sustained value.
  7. Stakeholder Communication: Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure clear communication.
What we are looking for
  1. Industry Experience: 5+ years in Demand/Production Planning or Supply Chain Planning, with 3+ years in Automotive Supply Chain or Discrete Manufacturing.
  2. Technical and Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and technical solutions related to Supply Chain Planning, especially in Discrete Manufacturing, Automotive, or AutoT1 sectors.
  3. Problem Solving & Communication: Ability to solve complex problems and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Strategic Thinking: Ability to define and articulate strategies, requirements, and use cases.
  5. Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile project management.
  6. Professional Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, reliable, and open to challenges.
  7. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MIS/CIS, Engineering, or related fields.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is $80,000 - $100,000, based on skills and experience. This role may include bonuses or commissions.
