Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Solution Architect (RFID) to design and deliver RFID solutions that improve inventory accuracy, stock visibility and operational efficiency across Primark’s global retail estate.

You will lead architecture governance, develop designs and documentation, collaborate with business, product and engineering teams, and ensure security, performance and scalability as RFID capabilities integrate with retail and supply chain platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Solution Architect within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proven experience designing RFID solutions within retail or supply chain operations.
• Deep understanding of retail technology, inventory management and stock visibility processes.
• Experience integrating RFID platforms with enterprise applications and operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of end-to-end RFID solutions aligned with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.
• Develop and maintain solution architectures, technical designs, blueprints and documentation.
• Provide architectural governance and technical leadership throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business, product and engineering teams to define scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, resilience and scalability requirements.
• Evaluate technologies, vendors and solution options, providing recommendations and managing technical risks.
