Job summary

Smart Sourcer Limited is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise technology solutions within a professional services environment, focusing on Microsoft stack including M365, Azure and Power Platform.

You will own architecture across transformation programmes, produce HLDs/LLDs, engage stakeholders, evaluate COTS and SaaS, ensure security/governance, and drive architecture roadmaps in regulated, global settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in solution architecture within legal, professional services or global regulated environments.
• Strong Microsoft technology background (M365, Azure, Power Platform) alongside COTS/SaaS implementations.
• Technical background before architecture (e.g., engineering, DevOps, DBA, networking).
• Proven delivery of enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communications skills.

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise technology solutions within a professional services environment. Reporting into the Architecture function, you'll shape end-to-end solutions that align with business strategy, security requirements and architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own solution architecture across business and technology transformation programmes.


• Produce and govern High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).


• Design solutions across applications, cloud, infrastructure, data and security.


• Lead architecture workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.


• Evaluate and implement COTS and SaaS solutions, with a preference for configurable platforms over bespoke software development.


• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security and governance standards.


• Support vendor selection, technical decision-making and architecture assurance.


• Solution Architecture experience within Legal Services, Professional Services or other complex, regulated & global environments.


• Strong Microsoft technology background including M365, Azure, Power Platform in addition to COTS and SaaS solutions


• A technical background prior to moving into architecture (e.g. engineering, devops, DBA, networking)


• Proven delivery of enterprise-scale technology solutions.


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (inc. presenting to non-technical stakeholder)


• Experience producing architecture documentation including HLDs, LLDs and solution roadmaps.


• Polished and confident communications skills


• Experience of multi-vendor environments
