Solution Architect - Java, AWS, API, Microservices, Remote, FinTech

Salary - £100,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits

Location - London, Remote

We're proud to represent a FinTech scale-up setting a new industry standard in their market. With ambitious plans to scale the platform over the next few years and support an expanding international client base, this role is pivotal in shaping the business's future.

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in microservices, AWS cloud technologies, and financial systems to play a key role in designing and implementing innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a deep understanding of financial systems, and a proven track record of delivering scalable and reliable solutions in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure microservices-based applications on AWS cloud platform.
• Develop API strategies and integrations to enable seamless communication between different systems and services.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

Skills

• Experience with Microservice Architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Spring Boot, Java, Python)
• Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and IAM.
• Experience working with Kafka
• Hands-on experience with API development, RESTful principles, and API management platforms.
• Proven track record of delivering projects using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
