Solution Architect - Java, AWS, AI/ML

Salary - £100,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits

Location - London, Remote (once a month)

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in microservices, AWS cloud technologies, and financial systems to play a key role in designing and implementing innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a deep understanding of financial systems, and a proven track record of delivering scalable and reliable solutions in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure microservices-based applications on AWS cloud platform.
• Develop API strategies and integrations to enable seamless communication between different systems and services.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

Skills

• Experience with Microservice Architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Spring Boot, Java, Python)
• Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and IAM
• Experience working with Kafka for event-driven and streaming architectures
• Hands-on experience with API development, RESTful principles, and API management platforms
• Proven track record of delivering projects using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AI and Machine Learning, including model development, deployment, and inference using Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock
