Job summary

The Royal British Legion is seeking a Solution Architect to design secure, scalable and user-centred technology solutions that enable our Armed Forces community support services. You will shape technical strategy, collaborate with business leaders and deliver architectural guidance across major programmes.

You will be part of a team driving a new technology roadmap while ensuring alignment with architectural standards and long-term vision, with hybrid in-person and remote working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure, scalable, user-centred solutions across complex programmes.
• Ability to translate strategy into practical architecture and roadmaps.
• Proven capability to guide technology decisions with stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design of products and platforms.
• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and artefacts.
• Collaborate with product owners to align business goals with technical requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance across product and project lifecycles.
• Support transformation programmes and modernise legacy environments.
• Champion best practice in architecture, DevOps, automation and modern engineering.
