Who are we looking for?

The Solution Architect provides expert counsel, governance, and support to the development teams in designing and building new OSS/BSS functionality to support Gamma's roadmaps and strategy.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

• Owning technical designs and decisions for new features and projects.
• Supporting development teams in implementing new functionality, ensuring that correct processes, standards, and patterns are followed.
• Working with senior stakeholders to define and understand requirements and solutions.
• Collaborating with peers and stakeholders to define architecture standards.
• Influencing future roadmaps within the OSS/BSS domain.
• Ensuring the scalability and extensibility of OSS/BSS applications while meeting business expectations.
• Analyzing and documenting existing systems to support and extend them.
• Producing and overseeing solution designs to enable development teams, ensuring best practices and alignment with Gamma IT Strategy.
• Serving as a technical SME within the BSS/OSS domain.

What you’ll need:

• Experience working within an architecture team, ensuring designs align with roadmaps and strategy.
• Leadership and guidance experience.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Influencing skills and a drive for positive outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Experience in OSS/BSS, consumer purchasing, or financial systems.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with APIs and web services.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
