Solution Architect - Data - Local to Pittsburgh/Cleveland/Dallas/Phoenix/Birmingham

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing data-driven solutions that support business objectives. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring that solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with enterprise architecture.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
  • Develop end-to-end architecture for data science and AI/ML solutions.
  • Ensure integration with existing enterprise systems and data pipelines.
  • Define best practices for data ingestion, processing, storage, and model deployment.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify business challenges and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and optimize data pipelines.
  • Design and implementation of data quality scorecards and metrics.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to provide direction for and contribute to development, implementation and rollout of solutions and consulting services.
  • Facilitate design and solution workshops with clients.
  • Implement monitoring and performance tuning for data science applications.
  • Optimize data processing and model inference for real-time and batch applications.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
  • 4-6 years experience in:
  • Python, R, SQL, and data processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
  • ML & Data Engineering pipelines
  • Python with Django and Flask, Spark, Big-Data stack - Hive, Kafka & NoSQL
  • ML Frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
  • Statistical Analysis and Fine-Tuning/Hyper-Tuning the models (like Spark-Trails, Optuna)
  • Model Lifecycle management in ML Flow and Graph QL
  • Feature Engineering

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,000 - $XX,XXX.
