Fruition IT is seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect for a UK remote role with very ad-hoc travel. The position offers a market day rate outside IR35, initial duration of 6 months with high potential for extensions. The successful candidate will join a well-recognized, highly regulated software-focused business.

As the Data Architect, you will be responsible for platform design and architecture in preparation for migrating from legacy systems to a new AWS cloud data platform.

Data Architect Requirements:

1. Experience with AWS cloud data platforms
2. Strong understanding of architecture in enterprise data projects
3. Proven experience migrating on-prem solutions to the cloud, including re-architecting
4. Experience working on data-focused projects such as data warehousing, big data, and data streaming
5. Proficiency with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, etc.
