Job summary

Oscar Associates Limited is seeking a Solution Architect to design end-to-end infrastructure and cloud solutions across enterprise projects, blending on-premises and Azure.

You will produce High- and Low-Level Designs and guiding technical documentation, and lead architecture discussions with stakeholders to ensure governance and best practices.

This hybrid role is based in Leeds with UK-wide opportunities and a salary of £65k-£70k plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Design enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions across complex projects.
• Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) with supporting technical documentation.
• Lead architecture discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Deliver Azure and hybrid cloud projects.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, ITIL or other frameworks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end infrastructure and cloud solutions across enterprise projects.
• Produce HLDs, LLDs, and supporting technical documentation.
• Translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles from discovery through to delivery.
• Define architecture standards, governance, and best practices.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and third-party suppliers.
• Review existing platforms and identify opportunities for modernisation and continuous improvement.
• Balance security, resilience, scalability, supportability, and cost when making architecture decisions.

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Experience designing enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions
• Experience producing HLDs, LLDs, and technical design documentation
• Experience leading architecture discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience delivering Azure and hybrid cloud projects
• Experience with VMware and enterprise infrastructure technologies
• Experience with architecture governance and design assurance
• Experience working within complex multi-site environments
• Experience with TOGAF, ITIL, or other architecture frameworks is advantageous but not essential
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones is desirable
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code is desirable
• Experience with Identity & Access Management is desirable
• Experience with Microsoft Intune is desirable
• Experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams is desirable
• Experience with Zero Trust Security is desirable
• Experience with Disaster Recovery & High Availability is desirable
• Experience with enterprise networking is desirable
