We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect that centers around implementing and enhancing Avaloq within a growing team as part of the programme, aiming to broaden service delivery in banking and credit into investment and custody operations.

The role:

Implement and tailor the Avaloq solution for banking and credit services.

Collaborate with other architects in a developing team environment.

Foster an understanding of existing Avaloq applications that have been operational for two years.

Manage stakeholder engagements and facilitate communication across teams.

Participate in team strategy sessions focused on expanding capabilities into investment and custody sectors.

Conduct interviews with potential candidates for team expansion.

Key Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a Solution Architect on Avaloq implementation or large-scale banking transformation projects.

Strong working knowledge of Avaloq Core Banking, including model-based configuration, core modules (e.g., client data, payments, securities), parameterization and module integration.

Experience with UK private banking or wealth management operating models and regulatory considerations.

Deep understanding of enterprise integration architecture, data flows, and common middleware patterns.

Familiarity with secure software delivery, data protection (GDPR), and financial regulatory compliance (e.g., MiFID II, SMCR, AML/KYC).

Familiarity with UK regulatory standards, including FCA regulations, MiFID II, and GDPR compliance.

Experience with agile/hybrid project environments, and collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, Lucidchart, ArchiMate.

Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts to business audiences.
