Job summary

Rowden is seeking multiple Solution Architects at all levels to provide technical leadership and architectural direction across complex programme and pre-sales environments. You will translate customer problems into credible, deliverable engineering approaches and offer client-side architectural oversight.

Role spans shaping technical solutions for major bids and providing assurance on supplier-led delivery, engaging with customers, partners, and internal teams with authoritative judgement.

Qualifications

• Senior Solution Architect background in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Broad tech understanding across systems architecture, hosting, integration, networking, and service design.
• Proven ability to engage externally with customers, partners, or programme stakeholders with clarity.

Responsibilities

• Shape credible technical and delivery solutions for major bids and pre-sales opportunities.
• Provide senior architectural oversight and assurance of solution designs.
• Engage with customers, partners, and senior stakeholders, providing clear technical direction.
• Produce high-quality technical content for bids, proposals, white papers, and presentations.
• Interpret user requirements and translate them into architectural solutions balancing performance and delivery constraints.
• Identify, assess, and manage technical risks across the solution and programme lifecycle.
• Collaborate with technical SMEs to maintain overall solution coherence.
• Support early contract mobilisation and governance framework development.
