Job summary

Assystem in the United Kingdom is hiring for a mid-senior PLM architect role to define, design, implement, and govern end-to-end PLM solution architecture on a major nuclear project.

The position requires strong PLM expertise, API and integration experience, and fluency in English. It offers hybrid working with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to influence enterprise architecture and digital continuity across the program.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Computer Science degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience with Dassault 3DX or Netvibes.
• Strong PLM and Digital Engineering expertise in PLM data models, data modelling, lifecycle management, configuration and change management, and digital thread and digital continuity concepts.
• Experience with system integration and API.
• Fluent English.
• Desirable: nuclear industry knowledge with EPR technology; knowledge of Python, R, or SQL; knowledge in AVEVA; knowledge of Dassault 3Dx PLM and Netvibes tools; ability to communicate in French.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, implement, and govern the end-to-end PLM solution architecture for a major nuclear project.
• Ensure coherence of functional and technical choices, scalability, and sustainability of the PLM solution.
• Align business needs, PLM capabilities, and enterprise architecture.
• Provide architectural direction and design authority.
• Ensure PLM supports configuration identification, configuration management for milestones, full traceability, configuration control, and change management.
• Own the PLM architectural vision and coherence.
• Make key design and governance decisions.
• Ensure PLM remains robust, compliant, and scalable over time.

Requirements

• Engineering degree, Computer Science degree, or equivalent
• Proven experience with either Dassault 3DX or Netvibes
• Strong PLM and Digital Engineering expertise in PLM data models, data modelling, lifecycle management, configuration and change management, and digital thread and digital continuity concepts
• Experience with system integration and API
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to adapt and learn in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment
• Ability to set, achieve, and maintain high standards regarding safety and quality
• Fluent English
• Desirable: experience in the nuclear industry with knowledge of EPR technology
• Desirable: knowledge of Python, R, or SQL
• Desirable: knowledge in engineering tools such as AVEVA
