Job description

Join Capita Public Service as a Solution Architect. Are you a visionary Solution Architect with a passion for designing integrated technical solutions? Capita is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the architecture and design of a transformative programme for one of our key strategic clients.

You will own the overall Capita solution architecture and ensure alignment with Capita and third-party design principles. The role involves designing a comprehensive solution including a multi-channel contact centre, correspondence services, data warehouse, and automation/AI capabilities integrated with a newly implemented ERP platform.

Job Description

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the development and approval of Capita's solution architecture and design.
  • Collaborate with client and third-party Solution Architects to ensure cohesive design.
  • Oversee creation of technical design deliverables including high-level and detailed designs.
  • Contribute to implementation strategies including testing, environment, and cutover.
  • Lead creation of security and data privacy documentation including ISMS and DPIAs.
  • Ensure solution design quality and compliance with infosec requirements.
  • Line manage the Solution Technical Consultant.
What we're looking for

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in solution architecture for large-scale, multi-party programmes.
  • Expertise in designing contact centres, data warehouses, and integration points.
  • Strong negotiation and consensus-building skills.
  • Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with ERP solutions and global technical delivery partners.
  • Willingness to travel across UK Capita locations.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP.
  • Background in phased service transfer and shared service environments.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies like AI for service enhancement.
