Job summary

TESTQ Technologies in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead cloud-based microservice designs and secure integrations within a UK-based role. You will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver resilient, scalable architectures for payment-enabled systems.

The ideal candidate has extensive API security expertise, service orchestration experience, and hands-on infrastructure sizing, with familiarity with in-memory stores such as Hazelcast, Redis and Kafka

Qualifications

• 15+ years IT experience, preferably as a Solution Architect.
• Experience with Corporate and Retail Domestic Payments preferred.
• Expertise in API security for production-class systems.
• Proficient in building resilient, scalable microservices.
• Strong knowledge of integration protocols (SFTP, Connect Direct, TCP sockets, HTTP/REST).
• Experience in service design and orchestration using microservices.
• Excellent stakeholder communication.
• Infra sizing experience for CPU, memory and infra requirements.
• In-memory stores experience with Hazelcast, Redis, GridGain and Kafka ecosystems.

Job description

• 15 yrs of IT experience preferably as a SolutionTechInfrastructure Architect Designe
• Exposure to Corporate and Retail Domestic Payments is preferred
• Excellent technical knowhow on the latest of Cloud based Microservices based solutions
• Exposure to API Security with production class systems with Customer facing Internal systems API comms etc
• Should have good knowledge of building resilient scalable and secure architecture which are performant micro services
• Should have good knowledge of different integration protocols SFTP Connect Direct TCP Sockets HTTP ReST API
• Strong expertise with API and Application Security with different Industry standard security patterns to build trustless applications
• Experience in Service design and Service orchestration using Microservices
• Excellent communication skills demonstrated via previous engagement with various IT and Business stakeholders
• Strong experience with Infra Sizing that includes calculation and measurements of CPU Memory and other Infra requirements
• Sound experience of In Memory Stores like Hazelcast Redis Grid Grain and Apache or Confluent Kafka is preferred
