As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the organisation's systems landscape, ensuring scalability and adaptability for future growth. You will bring expertise in modern technologies to drive technical governance, innovation, integration, and cloud strategies. This role requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with a collaborative approach and the willingness to be hands-on when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions that drive measurable value.
• Architect integrated solutions using industry best practices to ensure seamless functionality across multiple business functions and systems.
• Act as a key business partner to Demand and Project Delivery Teams, ensuring solutions align with industry standards and strategic roadmaps.
• Provide leadership in architecture review sessions, contributing to governance structures such as the IT Design Authority.
• Assess and evaluate proposed changes to baseline solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Apply deep expertise in Azure Cloud services, infrastructure, data management, and application development.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate emerging solutions and enhancements.
• Champion agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and quality engineering principles throughout the development life cycle.

Skills/Experience

• Previous experience in a Solution Architecture role
• Proven background working with cloud technologies, with a emphasis on Azure
• A strong track record of modernising enterprise systems using Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions.
• Previous experience of Azure technologies, such as Azure DevOps, Azure Integration Services, and Azure security best practices.
• Expertise in solving complex architectural challenges and driving innovation.
• Exceptional problem-solving and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end solutions for various personas (Customers, Consumers, Experts).
• Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
