In this role, the solution architect will lead the design and development of products for national security propositions, supporting international government missions in areas such as cyber, communications monitoring, anti-terrorism, and serious crime.

The role includes the following tasks:

1. Technical design of multi-component data processing systems, including understanding system requirements, elaborating solutions, and working with development teams to refine designs and assess risks.
2. Documenting designs and estimates, conducting peer reviews, and ensuring alignment with best practices.
3. Writing content for proposals and contracts, capturing solution scope, compliance, delivery approach, and associated risks.
4. Creating innovative design aspects aligned with existing solution patterns.

Essential Experience and Skills:

1. Strong technical background in software, hardware, or digital systems, with the ability to work at both high-level and detailed levels.
2. Experience with data processing system design or implementation, including data capture, processing, storage, and visualization, with knowledge of AI/ML and Big Data.
3. Hands-on experience with systems installation, configuration, scripting, and debugging.
4. Understanding of data analysis, data sets, search, and filtering techniques.
5. Knowledge of IP networks, data protocols, and cyber attack methods.
6. Willingness to travel internationally several times a year, with short-notice travel flexibility.
