Job summary

Certa is a remote-first innovator in AI-driven third-party risk management. We seek a Solution Architect to translate client requirements into scalable platform solutions, owning discovery through go-live and guiding senior stakeholders across procurement, risk, and IT.

You will lead end-to-end designs, build integrations, and mentor junior consultants while advancing TPRM and ESG-led procurement automation across a global client base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in TPRM, vendor/supplier management, procurement, GRC, or supply chain ops; familiarity with ISO27001, SOC 2, GDPR, or DORA.
• 3+ years of hands-on implementation consulting delivering enterprise SaaS or workflow automation; lead full-cycle implementations.
• Proficiency configuring no-code/low-code workflow platforms; reading JSON/XML; integration patterns such as REST, SSO/SAML.
• Awareness of Coupa, Ariba, ServiceNow, Archer, OneTrust; proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart.
• Excellent communicator translating technical concepts for business stakeholders; highly organized, remote-friendly.

The Solution Architect is the primary functional lead on Certa implementations, sitting at the intersection of business consulting and technical delivery. You'll translate complex client requirements into scalable platform solutions, own the solution design from discovery through go-live, and serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders ranging from procurement leads and risk officers to CIOs and CPOs. It's a high-impact, client-facing role for an experienced consultant who combines deep domain expertise in TPRM, vendor management, or procurement with hands-on implementation skills and a passion for solving complex operational challenges through technology.

What You'll Do

• Lead solution design & delivery: Lead end-to-end solution design for Certa implementations, translating client TPRM frameworks, risk processes, and business requirements into scalable, best-practice configurations, and own the solution blueprint and technical design documentation for each engagement.

• Configure & integrate: Design and build workflow automation, intake forms, approval routing, risk scoring models, reporting, and integration patterns (APIs, SSO/SAML, ERPs, GRC tools, procurement systems), driving to a high-quality, on-time go-live.

• Advise clients: Lead discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions across procurement, compliance, legal, IT, and risk, acting as a trusted advisor on TPRM, supplier onboarding, and procurement automation best practices, and facilitating process-mapping and gap-analysis exercises.

• Manage the engagement: Manage client expectations proactively around scope, feasibility, and trade-offs, and produce high-quality solution documentation, configuration guides, and knowledge-transfer materials that enable long-term client self-sufficiency.

• Mentor & build the practice: Support and mentor junior Implementation Consultants through technical guidance and design reviews, and contribute reusable accelerators, templates, and playbooks while staying current on platform releases and emerging TPRM, ESG, and procurement trends.

What You'll Need

• Domain experience: 5+ years in TPRM, vendor/supplier management, procurement, GRC, or supply chain operations, with a solid understanding of the enterprise vendor lifecycle (onboarding, due diligence, risk assessment, contract management, off-boarding) and familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, or DORA.

• Implementation consulting: 3+ years of hands-on implementation consulting delivering enterprise SaaS or workflow automation (ideally TPRM, procurement, or related domains), with a proven track record leading full-cycle implementations from discovery through go-live at complex enterprise clients, across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

• Technical skills: Proficiency configuring no-code/low-code workflow or BPM platforms (Certa, Appian, Pega, Salesforce, or ServiceNow), working knowledge of integration patterns (REST APIs, webhooks, SSO/SAML, data import/export), and the ability to read JSON/XML (basic scripting or query experience a plus).

• Landscape & tooling: Awareness of the TPRM/procurement technology landscape (Coupa, Ariba, ServiceNow, Archer, OneTrust, or comparable), and proficiency with project and documentation tooling (JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalents).

• Communication & mindset: An exceptional communicator who translates technical concepts for business stakeholders and business context for technical teams, a structured analytical thinker comfortable with ambiguity, highly organized and self-directed in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, with a client-centric commitment to delivering value and building long-term trusted relationships.
