About HSE’s Information, Technology and Services

This team is primarily responsible for the development of an Enterprise Architecture, including Business, Data, Applications, and Technology domains. They define and execute technology strategy and oversee the delivery of new IT Solutions.

Role of the Solution Architect

This role leads the Applications Architecture domain, directing and governing the design and delivery of new application components and the end-to-end design of digital IT solutions that utilize these components.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop application roadmaps and target architectures
• Create reusable application components
• Plan the transition from legacy systems to modern services to meet business objectives

Context and Opportunities

This is an exciting time to join HSE. Several new change programmes are underway to deliver digital solutions that replace legacy systems and improve processes. These programmes support specific operational areas but share common solution components requiring design and integration. The delivery involves both internal and third-party resources.
